Marketing - Web Development - Gov't eLearning

Portfolio

Here are a few examples of my work - feel free to explore.

About

Hello there! Living in DC, I found myself diving head first into public sector marketing for enterprise IT solutions. I quickly learned the ropes of federal, state & local, and commercial marketing as I managed aspects of the Adobe Government relationship and owned 20+ complementary vendor-accounts.

Now, as a Training Developer and contractor at the Department of Justice - Asset Forfeiture Program, I collaborate with every team that takes part in the software development lifecycle. Learning how agencies operate internally has become an important takeaway. It's here that I quickly learned the IT needs of developers, engineers, & administrators and realized these needs extend to every agency.

With this insight, I'd like to continue getting the right technology into the hands of those that work to improve our digital world.

6th Annual

Citizen Engagement Seminar

Details

Role: Lead

Description: Carahsoft's 6th Annual Citizen Engagement Seminar (CES) took place on June 16, 2016 and brought together government thought leaders and public sector experts to discuss how they are working to lead the transition to citizen-centric service.

Responsibilities: Compiled a comprehensive list of both government and industry speakers while locking in sponsorhips. Full handle on promotional schedule and contact lists (emails and calls). On-site duties included speaker management, liaison to hotel, and overseeing livestreaming while managing a staff of 12.

In preparing the 7th Annual CES, I revamped the sponsorship prospectus and created "A Look at Citizen Engagement" with Government Business Results based on our 2016 event for additional promotional material.

Responsibilities: As the Account Manager for Granicus (formerly GovDelivery) I assisted in the execution and account relations for our large-scale Innovation in Government campaign. New Relic & Pivotal Cloud Foundry

Details

Role: Account Manager & Social Strategy

Description: Monitor Pivotal Cloud Foundry with New Relic - with a mostly commercial team, New Relic looked to pair with other solutions in the public sector. Utilizing a strong social presence and employee advocacy, we executed a successful campaign to increase quarterly earnings and overall awareness.

Responsibilities: As the government marketing extension of New Relic's team, I spearheaded the social strategy behind the integration campaign - consisting of SME interviews, general webinar targeting, and technical follow-up opportunity.

Role: Content Creator

Description: Bringing on a new tool called Brainshark, our vendors quickly sought out video marketing to enhance email campaigns, sales calls, and to create ever-green call-to-actions.

Responsibilities: As the Account Manager for 20+ complementary accounts, many of which were just beginning their public sector plays, I utilized Brainshark to quickly transform static content into rich, interactive video presentations.

State & Local Roadshows

Adobe Connect for eLearning & Virtual Meetings

Details

Role: Lead

Description: Adobe provided Carahsoft with Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to plan and manage Adobe Connect Roadshows - executing 4 events per quarter across the country on the state and local level.

Responsibilities: As the lead for these events, I scheduled dates and speakers, purchased giveaways, created email and social promotions, coordinated contact lists with sales, and worked heavily with hotels to make our funds stretch as far as they could.

Oftentimes these events would be promoted at the same time, so keeping track of both the sales and marketing efforts became critical.

On-Demand Webinar

Details

Role: Account Lead

Description: My client wanted to create content that could be utilized throughout National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM). We utilized a previously recorded webinar as an on-demand resource.

Responsibilities: Paying close attention to routine webinar protocol, I enhanced the background and visuals to humanize the experience. For all webinars, I worked to attain and create promotional content with a set promo-period of 2 weeks, across multiple channels.

This piece could then be reused the following year as an ungated resource to kick-off NCSAM.
